Here we are baby Eddie is now 3mth and I’m just now getting to write about how our family has grown. My goal was to write this before the new year, but these kiddos have kept me quit busy. Baby Eddie is now weighing in at a whopping 14lb. 8oz (chunky monkey) a big difference from his sister when she was at that age. As similar as my pregnancies were with both my kids, I never could have imagined how different their newborn phase would be. With Bella I had ease with nursing (though it obviously still hurt and there was some crying), she was a great sleeping baby, and we had a good routine early on. With baby Eddie things have been a little different, he is just the sweetest baby, but nursing this time around came with some challenges, one mainly being that he was eating so much, and keeping up with day to day activities are harder mostly because I have a toddler who keeps me preoccupied most days as well. We are still working on our daily routine.
Its hard to explain, but these sweet babies just take my breath away with how beautiful and perfect they are. Motherhood is even better than l ever imagine. It’s hard as heck, I sometimes second guess myself, cry and usually convince myself that I am failing miserably at this Mom thing but God has definitely step in and help me navigate through motherhood knowing he choose me to be their MOM, and I am an amazing Mom for them!
Maybe one day I’ll order birth announcements, go through my personal photos and possibly design & order albums for myself! But for right now, I’m just going to keep trying to keep my head above water with all this motherhood stuff.
“By God’s grace I can resist the temptation to treat my children as interruptions to my will for my life. Instead, God enables me to treat my children as precious gifts He is using to shape me into his image according to his will for my life.” – Treasuring Christ when your hands are Full
